Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct daily monitoring and surveillance activities which involves safety, material and equipment preservation, proper implementation of approved welding procedures and specification is being carried out to job site.
  2. Check and monitor welder qualification, consumable storage and handling, issuance and returned record, welding equipment calibration certificate.
  3. Record inspection finding in job site, issue inspection report and non-conformance report (NCR).
  4. Maintain log for inspection reports and monitor close out of non-conformance reports and ensure all documents pertaining to inspection and quality control in a retrievable manner.
  5. Inspection and witness Hydrostatic test/Pneumatic testing of process piping, utilities piping based on test boundaries and limitation with in P & ID if matching with isometric drawings and all requirements are meet the project specification standards.
  6. Review and check calibration certificate of all gauges use in hydrostatic test or pneumatic test
  7. Review and conduct final line check inspection to ensure it comply both Engineering and Quality requirements, prepare punch list, punch list clearing on test package issued by contractor prior to release for testing.
  8.  Controls equipment installation, alignment and leveling (pump, motors, equipment, etc)
  9. Performs functional test and mechanical completion checks (Pressure and atmospheric vessel)
  10. Witness Pre-commissioning activities such as flushing/ air blowing, system tightness/leak testing and nitrogen purging of piping systems.
  11. Witness and inspection reinstatement and close out activities of piping systems after completion of test as per approved drawings, specification and commissioning requirements.
